Facilities at nua

What are the toilet and shower facilities like?

There is a permanent shower and toilet block (fully accessible) and there will be plenty of portaloos around the site. We have doubled the number of temporary showers and toilets from last year and these will be serviced throughout the weekend.

Are there baby changing facilities?

There are baby change stations located in the permanent toilet block and the creche tent.

Can I buy food on site?

There will be a number of food and coffee vans available. We also recommend you bring camping friendly food and snacks (eg: things you can cook/reheat on a camping stove, BBQ supplies, bread, fruit, instant noodles, cereal bars, sweets). There are also supermarkets within a 5 minute drive of the site.

Accessibility at nua

Our hope is to make NUA as accessible as possible. If you have any questions about accessibility that are not answered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Is NUA wheelchair accessible?

All the main spaces are wheelchair accessible and it is possible for wheelchair users to have parking close to the main tent entrance.

There are some permanent toilet and shower blocks on site which are fully accessible.

I’m coming to NUA on my own. Is there any way to connect?

We’d encourage you to join with one of the churches coming from your region or you can ask one of our welcome team to point you in the direction of some friendly faces. We also believe that serving on one of our volunteer teams at NUA is a great way to have community and meet new people.

Is there SEN provision at NUA?

On Friday night and Saturday throughout the day there is an SEN tent available as a parent/carer led space. On Sunday there are 2 specific SEN sessions run by Eden Consultancy which must be booked in advance. Please contact kids@nuafestival.com for more information or to reserve a spot.

Will there be any sign interpreters at NUA?

Our main adult sessions on Sunday will have sign interpreters
